Vintage Shopping Find: Big Daddy’s Antiques LA

Enter Big Daddy’s Antiques; a vintage interiors concept store tucked away on an industrial back street in Culver City and you’ll become giddy with excitement just like a kid in a candy store. Only that kid is you (a vintage aficionado) and that candy store is a 20,000 square foot, one-of-a-kind superstore filled with beautifully curated vintage antiques and reproductions from Europe, Asia and North America.

And if that’s not enough, Big Daddy’s soaring space is also available to rent, for that special event in your life ”” weddings, birthdays, lavish dinners or just because you’ve always wanted to know what it feels like to live in a lofty space filled to the brim with distinctive furnishings.

The mastermind behind Big Daddy’s Antiques is Shane Brown, a man with such refined taste and a good eye for all things quality. His design skills, understandably, are often in demand for large-scale projects outfitting retailers like Nordstrom, Ralph Lauren and various celebrity homes. A respected figure in the field and certainly an industry influencer, Brown also creates custom light fixtures using unexpected vintage pieces (copper baking pans for example) and operates an on-site workshop for custom-built orders and vintage repairs.

Perhaps your bank account won’t thank us for this recommendation, but your house will. Trust us.
