NYC Art Gallery Find: Dia:Beacon
A former Nabisco box factory turned incredibly inspiring, elegant viewing space for modern and contemporary art. The building is truly epic in scale and is a spectacular space to house works from the likes of Imi Knoebel, Dan Flavin, Sol Lewitt and Richard Serra just to name a few.
Dia:Beacon is a short and enjoyable train ride from the city during which, you will see sweeping views of the Hudson River. You might be lucky enough to spy some deer on the way too.
Best Bit: Luxuriant lighting and quality of curation.
