The December Spotify playlist starts off with a little gem I discovered by NZ producer Lord Echo featuring the earnest vocals of Leila Adu that give you that nostalgic feeling of Brazil in the Bossa Nova 60’s. Then, in what feels like no time at all, Lord Echo (aka Mike Fabs) switches over to some more dance floor ready grooves.

I smirked when I took note of the opening lyrics “I knew you were the one, when I walked into the bar and you were dropping my favorite song”¦ Some esoteric stuff, made me look into your eyes… I just wanted you to take me home”¦”

I guess it’s true that girls love DJs! 🙂
