In the beautiful tree-lined West Village lies Taïm (pronounced ta-eem) a quaint little falafel and smoothie bar serving up unadulterated Israeli falafel in the form of sandwiches and platters. Taïm, meaning “tasty” in Hebrew, has no difficulty living up its own name by offering crunchy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside falafels in three distinct and equally delicious flavours (cilantro-parsley-mint, roasted red pepper, and harissa).

 Best Bit: Nab a seat on the bench outside (if you’re lucky) and tuck into your perfectly constructed sandwich that surprises you with a piece of falafel in every bite all the way to the end.
