Little Branch NYC is a true hidden gem in the West Village. Enter via the most peculiar looking non-descript door on 7^th Avenue and descend the stairwell into a low-lit subterranean cocktail den.

Inside, the bar staff wear suspenders, the jazz music is peppy and the booths are cozy and intimate.

Fortunately, the bar inherits the same strict rules of conduct from its famed sister Milk & Honey that forbids any boisterous behavior. Although unlike Milk & Honey, it does not require of membership or a secret phone number to gain entry.

Best Bit: Hot buttered rum ”“ I think the name says it all.
