LAUREL HARDWARE, WEST HOLLYWOOD

Laurel Hardware is one of those restaurants that isn’t what it seems to be. Just a while ago it was really a hardware store ”“ one that you could drive past without realising that it was anything else, even now that it’s a fashionable West Hollywood restaurant.

When you walk into the restaurant, don’t be fooled into thinking that there’s only this one, quiet, naturally lit dining room at the front. Keep walking through to the back and watch the entire vibe change into that of a dark buzzing city bar/restaurant.

Best Bit: Keep walking even further and find yourself a nice seat in their outdoor terrace. LA sunshine, a cocktail and an outdoor terrace ”“ could it get any better? It probably could if you ordered some Hamachi with apricot and avocado mousse.
