Good Coffee Find: Brunswick Cafe NYC

Along with NYC’s fast growing antipodean population comes with it Australia’s favorite cultural past time and its best export – coffee.

Inspired by the laid-back Australian lifestyle – unpretentious with a slick decor to boot, Brunswick Café is a recent addition on the NYC coffee scene and it’s fast becoming a neighborhood gem. Its menu highlights much-loved brunch favorites including smashed avocado and feta toast sprinkled with dukkah, and some standout pastries for those busy commuters – Nutella scones or banana walnut toast, anyone?

The space is deceptively small – a narrow hallway adorned with pendant lighting leads into a bright, airy greenhouse space, making it the perfect sanctuary for a slow weekend lunch. Don’t forget to top it off with a smooth, velvety cup of coffee, which for us Aussies makes Brunswick Café a home away from home.
