Situated on a busy street in central Brussels is The Game Designstore, a brightly lit white showroom space tastefully adorned with a curated collection of candy colored contemporary design objects for the modern home.

Local aesthetes can enjoy shopping in what feels more like the environs of a design museum than a standard home design store ”“ probably the result of the gallery style curation and arrangement that has been directed under the guiding eye of renowned dealer and gallerist Alexis Ryngaert of Victor Hunt Designart and his wife and creative sparing-partner, Dina Claes.

Conceived as a platform for emerging Belgian (and international) designers, Claes and Ryngaert showcase an ever-changing collection ranging from ceramics to lighting and furniture in the flagship Brussels store, an intimate Antwerp outpost as well as an online store.

A clever gamification-style retail concept, where stock of exactly 52 design projects can be found on display at a given time and continually exchanged and updated week to week means shoppers can enjoy perusing new objects at each visit knowing they must act quickly to collect their treasures at first sight, else they shall disappear into thin air.
